I first met Allie, the beautiful bride, in college at UNC-Chapel Hill! We were both in the same ministry and what I remember most about her was how sweet she always was to everyone. About a year after I graduated, Allie reached out to me and asked if I would photograph her wedding and I cannot tell you all how excited I was! Not only was she engaged, but she also told me that she and Brandyn wanted to get married in Wilmington, NC and I could not wait to photograph a wedding in the city that I learned to call home after graduation. To tell you that I was excited, would have been an understatement!

When Allie and Brandyn came to Wilmington for their Fort Fisher engagement session, it was a gorgeous summer day! I was able to get to know both of them a little better. I was able to hear the story of how they met and how they fell in love. It was amazing to hear their journey and then to see how it all came together on their big day. Their wedding and reception was in Downtown Wilmington at 128 South, a beautiful venue that overlooks the river. Right before the ceremony, as the bridesmaids were praying over the bride and the groomsmen were praying over the groom, I just knew that the tears of joy and love would be one of the most memorable parts of their day. The ceremony was definitely one that glorified God and his perfect timing in bringing Allie and Brandyn together as one. It was perfect and after their first kiss as husband and wife, the celebrations began and the dancing lasted into the night. It was a beautiful wedding day and I am so excited to finally share their images on the blog today!
