When I first met Ashely and Blake, I just remember how fun they were. During their engagement session, they had so much fun laughing with one another and telling me all about their story. About halfway through their session a storm rolled in and we had to reschedule the rest of their session. However, since they were getting married in Wilmington, they decided to finish their session on a beautiful property near the sound. It turned out to be absolutely stunning AND it gave me even more time to get to know them, which I just loved.

This past Friday was finally Ashley and Blake’s wedding day at the beautiful Brooklyn Arts Center in the Historic Downtown Wilmington. On the morning of their wedding day, a huge storm rolled through which is never what a bride wants to see on their big day. However, Ashely never seemed too worried or upset about the forecast and after her wedding I think the saying “rain on your wedding day is good luck” just might actually be true! Throughout their entire day, the rain never was a problem at all. In fact, right after the ceremony I stepped outside of the venue and the golden light of the sun setting was just behind the trees. It was amazing and you will not want to miss their romantically lit couple portraits! It was also amazing to work with the team of vendors that Ashley chose! It made the entire day such a joy. I am excited to share this sneak peek of their fun and joy filled day!
