Married: Melanie & Landon || The Columns at Six Penny Farm

When Melanie came to me about photographing her wedding, I was over the moon! Melanie and Landon met in college at UNC (go heels) and after they were married, they planned to begin their lives in New Orleans to follow Landon’s career! I couldn’t be more happier for them and their new life together. On their wedding day, he weather was calling for rain, but luckily it held off JUST for the right amount of time and their outdoor ceremony was perfect. Melanie and Landon’s ceremony was so sweet and included amazing door’s that the father of the bride made. Landon’s face completely lit up when he finally got to see his bride and they even shared some giggles at the altar. Even though it started to rain after the ceremony, we watched closely during the reception and the sun peaked out for just enough time for the most perfect couple portraits! This couple and the mountains in the backdrop made for a beautiful wedding at The Columns at Six Penny Farm in Virginia.
