I am so excited to announce that Anna Taylor Photography is looking for interns! Yes, interns, as in plural! I started my photography career as an intern a few years ago and it was an experience that ultimately helped me launch my own business in 2014. That is why I am so excited to add interns to the Anna Taylor Photography team this year.

In 2018 there will be two internship opportunities. The first will be in the Spring which will be from March through June. The second opportunity will be for the Fall, which will be from July through November.

This internship program is an opportunity that will help you to not only learn more about photography, but also all about the behind the scenes of running a business. Applications are now official open and will be accepted through February 2nd. Interviews will begin soon after in February and the Spring intern will be hired no later than February 23rd.

Here is what we are looking for:

• Someone who has a passion for photography, creativity and loves marriage, people and weddings.
• Someone with a great work ethic and will work hard to get things done.
• Someone who can problem solve and is very responsible.
• An organized person and can contribute this to the team.
• A person who is outgoing and loves to be around people.
• Someone who is really comfortable with Social Media – Instagram, Facebook, & Pinterest.
• A person that either knows how to use Lightroom, Indesign, Blogstomp, and WordPress (or is willing to work hard to learn)!
• Has a working knowledge of manual.
• Someone who enjoys a cup of coffee, a crazy pup in the office, and if you listen to Bobby Bones then that is just a plus ;).

Expectations:

• Can be available for 5-10 office hours/week plus all second shooting for booked weddings (average wedding day is 8 hours plus any travel time).
• Has a flexible schedule that allows availability to work in my office in Wilmington, NC.
• Can write the occasional posts on the blog.
• Is willing to learn how to schedule and post to social media in a way that helps to grow a small business and interact with followers.
• During wedding days, you will learn the flow of how we operate on a wedding day and how we work closely with vendors.
• You will learn how to run a wedding photography business during the height of wedding season.
• Can help to create organized workflows within the studio that will help to make the business run even smoother.
