Let me start by saying, this Love “Storey” was such a sweet one to capture and not only because the bride’s last name was the perfect “pun” for a wedding photographer! Wilson and Matthew were married at the Binkley Church on the Southeastern Baptist campus in Raleigh. The weather was absolutely perfect, so much so, that the mother of the bride kept saying how thankful she was to the Lord that He provide such a beautiful day for their wedding. This definitely became the reoccurring truth that the bride and groom were surrounded by as the two became one and I was truly honored to be a part of it. One of my FAVORITE parts of their ceremony was when they sang “Knowing You (All I Once Held Dear)”. Although I had never heard the song before, chills began to cover my arms and legs as Julie Anne Vargas sang. At one point during the song, I looked over and Matthew was gazing at his gorgeous bride with the biggest smile on his face. In that moment I thought to myself, these are the little perfect moments that makeup their “Storey” AND that I get the privilege to capture so many of them.

After their ceremony, we were able to take our time getting in some sweet moments of the newlyweds on the grounds outside of the church. Not only were the bride and groom completely giddy which was perfect for their intimate portraits, but Wilson’s cathedral style veil made for the perfect veil shots which are my absolute favorite and I hope you all enjoy them too! For their reception, we travelled back to where Wilson and and Matthew first met, New Life Camp. The bride and groom were both on staff during at the camp and from there their “storey” became history 🙂

It was such a please to be able to love and serve this couple and their families during this season and I am thankful I was able to walk along side them. I hope you all enjoy my favorites from this wedding and a big congrats to Wilson and Matthew!!
